"Hi, I'm Olivia! I earned my B.A. in Neurobiology from Northwestern University, where I completed the pre-med track and minored in Spanish. I'm currently a Fulbright scholar, set to research how education shapes understandings of the mind in Argentina. Throughout my academic journey, I've appreciated teachers who created space for curiosity and individualized learning. As a tutor, I value the opportunity to foster that same environment, offering students tailored tools that are often overlooked in a classroom setting.

Over the past four years, I've logged 100+ hours of one-on-one tutoring in high school math, biology, and college essay writing. My teaching style mirrors my academic interests, blending scientific rigor with storytelling. I help students break down complex concepts into memorable mental models and reinforce learning through spaced repetition and active recall. I meet students where they are and build from their natural aptitudes to turn challenging subjects into areas of confidence. I have raised nearly $40,000 in research grants and charity donations through writing, and I love helping others unlock the power of their personal narratives. In addition to essay coaching, I hold the Global Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish and tutor the language.
