My name is Michelle U. and I graduated Magna cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I have taught Pre-K through 8th grade, but the bulk of my career as been Pre-K through 5th grade. It has been my goal for the duration of my career as a teacher to see my students not just do well, but thrive in and out of the classroom. My hope is that they will excel so that they are making a positive impact within their communities while exceeding goals we set together to accomplish. It has always been a pleasure to assist in the development of their minds so that they learn to think logically, evaluate, investigate, reflect, and show discernment in all that they do. I truly care about the whole needs of each child.

When it comes to tutoring, I approach each child with various applications that will best work with the needs of the student, focusing on their strengths first, then helping them to overcome any weaknesses. It is important to me that I keep clear communication with the child's parents as to their needs/progress as we are in partnership together to see their child excel.
