I graduated from Texas Tech University with a Master's degree in Education. I have taught writing, science and social studies at various grade levels from K-12th grades. I recently worked at Texas Tech as a curriculum specialist and educator for Global Education. In this position I taught classes on world cultures to Region 17 schools as well as area colleges and universities. My Texas teaching certification is K-8th grade in all subjects.

I favor a "hands-on" approach to teaching that involves interaction between the tutor and student, and concrete experiences. I will customize lessons that will apply to your child's specific needs and particular learning style. My students often tell me that they are having fun and that the time is flying by.
