My greatest strength as an elementary and middle school math specialist/tutor is my ability to build trust with my students. With this trust, students feel vulnerable to open themselves up to the messy and rewarding work of finding their confidence in learning and at school.

With an MD teaching certification, 10+ years of teaching experience, a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University, and a master’s degree in adolescent special education, I have worked with all types of students with different needs, abilities, interests, and dreams.

I believe all children have innate problem-solving skills, and I support students through a strengths-based approach to build their mathematical understanding and confidence. I'm also silly, I like to make jokes, and I like to keep the tone of sessions light and casual. Plus, I just really love kids and tutoring! It is a true joy for me." less...
