I look forward to getting to know you! Here is a little bit about me!

I earned a Master of Science in Genetics and Genomics from Tulane University, and a BA in Philosophy alongside pre-med coursework from Loyola University Chicago. Since apparently "I'm addicted and I just can't get enough," I will be starting medical school in the fall! (can you guess the song reference?)

Throughout all my experiences, I have always found greatest reward in helping others succeed! In high school, I did peer-tutoring in math. For 2 years at Life Time Fitness, I taught swim lessons for children aged 3-12. I was a Baha'i Children's Class and Junior Youth Animator for about a year, focusing on self-expression, character development, and community building. At the Association of the Friends of Persian Culture Conference, I managed a classroom of children ages 7-11 to gain a deeper understanding of the culinary, artistic, and literary heritage of Persian culture.

My hobbies include taking over the living room to dance Zumba, running in races though none of us are being chased by a bear, pretending I am Claude Debussy himself when I'm playing the piano, and occasionally splashing paint onto a canvas.
