"I teach all levels of German as a Foreign Language including a conversational Beginner's Course. More advanced levels include Literature, German for Academic Purposes, and German for Business, as well as Exam Preparation (A1-C2). Native German speakers will benefit from a short Accent Reduction course focused on neutral American English. Over the years, I have taught students and trained teachers at universities and language schools, including Goethe Institute and Carl Duisberg Zentrum. I hold a PhD in neurobiology and have published papers on speech perception and developmental disorders. My special area of interest is adult learning, so the classes are based on relevant findings in experimental psychology and neuroscience of learning.
