"I am currently a resident of Savannah, GA and work as a GIS Analyst for the City of Savannah Government. I am very excited to help others learn in this growing field. My passion for geography and maps began at a very young age when I received a leapfrog explorer globe from Christmas. Eventually, Bing and Google Maps further increased my interest. Prior to my current GIS analyst position, I worked as a graduate research assistant, where I used GIS heavily to collect hydrologic data on mountain bike trails. Before that I worked as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Tennessee, where I graded GIS assignments and assisted students with GIs assignments. In November of 2023, I published for the first time in Remote Sensing Applications: Society and Environment, where I studied remote sensing methods to detect hydrologic impacts of mountain bike trails.
