I’m currently working on a master’s in applied statistics, and I tutor for the SAT on the side.

Studying for the SAT is a marathon, not a sprint, and requires having an effective study routine that produces results yet doesn’t prematurely end in burnout.

For my grad school applications, I took the GRE, and after months of preparation, I got a 169, a 167, and a 5.0 in the Quantitative, Verbal, and Analytical Writing sections. Additionally, I have been studying German on my own since early 2021 (I was originally planning on going to grad school in Germany), and in April of 2023, I passed the TestDaF, scoring a 5 in each section, a score corresponding to C1 fluency in the CEFR framework.

Both experiences demonstrate my familiarity and capability regarding long-term studying. I do not claim to be gifted student, rather someone who can identify his weaknesses and come up with ways to work on and around them in order to find success.
