"Hello! My name is Jenisah but please feel free to call me Jeni. I am a first year graduate student in Speech-Language Pathology with a passion for helping young children develop confidence in reading and early learning skills. While I am new to formal tutoring, my studies have given me specialized knowledge in language development, phonics, and strategies that help children build foundational reading and communication skills. I am excited to bring this expertise into a fun, interactive learning environment for young learners!

In my session, I will focus on making learning playful and engaging. I will be using interactive activities, songs, and read-alouds to help children recognize letters, sound out words, and strengthen early counting skills. My goal is to create lessons that are not only educational but also enjoyable, so children feel motivated and confident as they learn. I also believe that it is important to carefully tailor each session to the child’s pace and interests, encouraging exploration and curiosity in a supportive atmosphere.

I am particularly skilled in helping children ages 3–10 with early literacy, phonics, and basic numeracy.
