"I am a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee and am studying biomedical engineering. I received my Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering with a concentration in biomechanics from Marquette University. I have been a graduate teaching assistant at UWM for the past two years teaching subjects including Introduction to Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanics Lab, Biomedical Devices, and Dynamic Modeling. These classes were in a classroom setting with myself leading groups of 10-15 students per session. I have several years of experience at the tutoring center on Marquette's campus and have taught subjects such as Calculus (I-III), Chemistry, Physics (I-II), and Statics. I also have a history of tutoring students in high school subjects such as Algebra, Geometry, Chemistry, and Physics. The setting in which I have tutored has primarily been a group setting although I have and currently conducted 1-on-1 tutoring. I have also completed multiple coding courses at Marquette, including Introduction to Computing and Computer Applications where I completed MATLAB and C++ scripts.
I have the fundamentals of math locked down and am much able to help with Algebra since it is the framework for many higher math courses.
I have taken AP Chemistry, and General Chemistry I-II, and placed in the 99th percentile for the ACS exam. My background in biomechanics makes me suitable for teaching mechanical engineering in courses such as Statics and Dynamics that I have taken.
Please reach out to me to schedule recurrent meetings with any courses that you may need help with, or to schedule one-time meetings as well. I am more than happy to help you succeed in your classes!" less...
