"Hello! My name is Carson, and I am a recent graduate of Vanderbilt University, where I received degrees in neuroscience and medicine, health, and society. For the last 4 years, I have passionately helped local high school students prepare their applications for college admissions. As someone who went through the process without any advice, I love giving back to the community. Additionally, I have tutored in a variety of subjects since high school, including English, writing, and Spanish.

When it comes to college application preparation, I take a one-on-one approach and specialize in helping students craft high school activities that will impress admissions committee members, personal statement and other college essay writing, and standardized test preparation. For standardized tests, I received a 1580 on the SAT and a 35 on the ACT, both of which are in the 99th percentile for all test takers.

As an incoming graduate student at Yale University, I recently had to go through the process of writing essays and a personal statement once again, and I was fortunate enough to be admitted to every school I applied to, including Dartmouth, Columbia, Brown, Vanderbilt, Emory, and more.
