"Hello! Currently, I am student teaching and will graduate in May 2024 with my Master of Arts in Teaching Middle School English. I was a full-time middle school itinerant substitute for 3 years where I worked in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade classrooms for every middle school subject. For the first semester of the 23-24 school year, I was a long-term substitute in a 6th-grade math classroom.

My experience includes whole-group, small-group, and one-on-one instruction. I like to incorporate fun and engaging activities that align with student interests because I strongly believe that students are more likely to learn when they are motivated by the things they enjoy. My bachelor's degree is in elementary education, but after having the opportunity to work in a middle school, I decided to get my masters in middle school education.
