"Becoming a physician is a challenging path that requires plenty of hard work and discipline. Having gone through the journey of medical school, I have come to learn efficient, creative methods of studying that truly stick in my mind. Being able to quickly recall important information, consider broad differentials, and reason through complex patient scenarios is vital to practicing medicine. This has helped me significantly on my rotations, and I hope to share my knowledge with other young students looking to succeed in this path.

I have previously tutored all the way from elementary/middle school students (STEM subjects), to college students (preparing for MCAT), to medical students (preparing for USMLE Step 1). Having recently completed and doing well on my USMLE Step 2 exam, I understand the constant work that goes into studying as much information as possible within a restricted timeline. I believe my tutoring methods have helped students perform well and pass their exams. Some of my innovative methods include drawing diagrams to break down complex topics, utilizing teach-back methods, creating flash cards, and even developing personalized visual memory hooks.

Additionally, I recognize that one's main enemy during a high-stakes exam is test anxiety. Not only do I provide tutoring to build knowledge, I also provide one-on-one mentorship that will help a student feel confident and prepared for their exams. By focusing on a student's strengths and weaknesses, I can tailor an individualized study plan to maximize information coverage.
