Hans S. is an Associate Professor of Visual Communication Design at Northern Kentucky University in the School of the Visual Arts. He holds a Master of Design degree from the University of Cincinnati and prior to teaching, was

employed at Landor Associates, specializing in visual identity and branding. His areas of research include typography, brand identity systems, motion design, film-making and design as an agent of social change. Numerous publications
