"I graduated with a bachelors degree in biology from the New York Institute of Technology in 2017. I graduated with an MD from SUNY Downstate in 2021. During my time at NYIT I served as a teaching assistant for 2 years and as a tutor in the sciences department for 3.5 years. I also worked with private clients during this time.

As a teaching assistant for general biology I was required to host 2 sessions per week in which I reviewed the lecture material with the students. As exams approached I assisted students in creating study guides and targeting their exam prep towards highly tested topics. I reviewed the exams with students and helped them identify their weaknesses.

During my time as a tutor I would work with students in classes that included general biology, microbiology, physiology, genetics as well as general chemistry. Sessions ranged from 1-2 hours and I covered topics that students were struggling with in class. I always made an effort to ensure students had an adequate foundation of knowledge. I also worked with students to ensure they were studying affectively.

Aside from my time with undergraduate students I also worked with high school students who were prepping for AP exams and Sat subject tests or just looking to get ahead.
