"I have been teaching French language classes at the university level for over two decades and I have been leading student language immersion trips abroad since 2002. I lived in Paris for 3 years and the south of France for 1 and cultivate an insider's view of the language and culture. I have studied in both the French university system (Paris V, MA '84) and in the U.S. (Harvard University, M.Ed '89). I have native fluency and proven success working with students at all ability levels. I am fascinated by the language learning process and enjoy the challenge of finding the approach that works for each individual student. I enjoy helping students learn to navigate and understand cultural differences to minimize culture shock and to maximize enjoyment.
