"I’m Kelly! I graduated from Florida State University with two Bachelor’s in Applied & Computational Mathematics and Statistics. I am wrapping up my Master’s degree in Data Science from Georgia Institute of Technology. While earning my undergraduate degree, I worked for FSU’s main campus library as a walk-in mathematics and statistics tutor for 3 years. After that, I did freelance tutoring for 3 years before halting for a while to focus on the early stages of my career.

I work full time as a Data Science Consultant, and a huge part of the job is explaining highly technical concepts to our clients so they can be as excited and invested in a project as we are! Whether you’re 6 years old or 60, there’s always something new to learn and I wish to impart that love of learning to my students! Lessons are always tailored to student needs, but generally, I like to make it engaging and allow the student plenty of freedom to ask questions and take the wheel so they feel heard and we can target their unique concerns.

I enjoy working with students of all ages. I teach several mathematics subjects, including Elementary Mathematics, Algebra I & II, Pre-Calculus, Calculus I & II, Statistics, Intro to Data Science, and mathematics Test Prep (ACT, SAT, GED, etc.).
