"Hello, this is Ramon. I’m a touring/session musician and a guitar teacher! I have a degree in Education by University of Granada and a AA program in Electric Guitar by Musicians Institute. For the past 15 years I toured the world with artists like Grandson, I played in festivals like “I Heart Radio” or “LoolaPalooza”, I performed in the biggest TV shows in America like the “Ellen Show”, “Conan O’Brien” or the “Seth Meyers Show”.

Being an active professional musician gives me the opportunity to learn about my field every day and I really enjoy sharing this knowledge with my students. I’ve been teaching private guitar and music lessons in English and Spanish for more than 15 years, online, face to face, all levels, ages and stiles. I customize my lessons individually to each student in order to achieve their personal goals. What I always do, is to record a short video, at the end of our lesson, with a summary of everything we worked on. That way they can concentrate during the classes without worrying about missing out on any information. Knowing that they'll have that material, allows them to be present and focus on what we are working on: techniques, harmony, learning songs, etc.. and they always have the recording saved to review during the week.

I also taught in two private schools: “Modern Music School of Pasadena” and “Topanga Music School”, where on top of my private lessons I had groups and band ensembles. I guided them during the songwriting processes, teaching them writing exercises and techniques.

I try to always make my classes fun, relaxed and enjoyable because I firmly believe that you can only learn a new skill when you are having a fun time.
