"Hi! I’m a certified English teacher with a B.A. in English Literature from Arizona State University and an M.A. in Teaching English Education (Secondary) from Grand Canyon University. I currently teach Year 4 Literature and Language (English I Honors) in the IB Middle Years Program.

I’ve loved reading and writing since before I could even do either properly. My mom loves to tell the story of how I would get completely absorbed in picture books long before I could read, and, to her dismay, I would scribble my own imagined stories right over the illustrations. That passion grew into a career, and now I love helping students become stronger readers, writers, and thinkers.
