"Hello! My name is Drew. I hold a bachelor's degree in humanities from Harvard University. During my time as an undergraduate, I was involved in various extracurricular writing projects, including script writing and editing for student plays, local performances, and video projects. I also assisted prospective students with their college essays and supplements, with successfully completed applications to universities like Tufts, Boston University, Princeton, Georgetown, University of Rochester, and The University of Virginia.

Additionally, I have an in-depth knowledge of Shakespeare and Early Modern English. I am particularly excited to coach students in classic literature, guiding them through topics spanning the challenging language of Shakespeare, American literature, and classical literature. My primary approach is thematic analysis and close reading. I have worked with students on persuasive essay writing and developing literary analysis skills that have helped them succeed in their AP English Literature courses.

I aim to help students of all ages reach their full potential through highly personalized and engaging coaching. While I primarily coach AP and college-level essay writing, I am also confident in tutoring various subjects across the humanities, including creative writing, poetry analysis and composition, essay writing, philosophy, world history, and world religion. Additionally, I have experience tutoring students diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD.
