Student's Past Success:

Typical MCAT Plan:

1st Session: Review your previous MCAT performance on practice full lengths, talk about your goals, create an action plan based on your timeline, and allow me to observe your current test taking strategies on practice problems.

Phase 1: Content review according to AAMC "What's on the MCAT" **This can be skipped if you've already done content review**

Phase 2: Guided practice questions. Together we work through AAMC practice questions where I ask you guiding questions, you explain your thought process, and pick a final answer. To debrief, I explain why the incorrect answers are incorrect, why the correct answer is correct, where I saw mistakes in your justification, and how I would have thought about this answer if I was taking the exam. Over time I will offer less and less guidance as I allow you to find the correct answer yourself. After each passage, we will still debrief.

Phase 3: Practice full length MCATs. Every 3-7 days you take a practice exam, we meet to go over what you got wrong, and make adjustments to improve your score.

Before Your MCAT: Hype you up and review what you've learned over the course of our meetings!

After graduating from Harvard in 2021 I applied to medical school successfully (5+ acceptances!) and matriculated to a top 15 medical school. My application was bolstered by my strong MCAT performance (512 total), specifically in Chem/Phys (91st percentile) and Psych/Soc (92nd percentile). With self-study tools I was able to increase my score by 21 points and get to the 85th percentile! Let me help you build a strong medical school application by laying the foundation with a strong MCAT score." less...
