"I am looking forward to tutoring ESL! I have a BA from Michigan State University in Interdisciplinary Humanities: Literacy and Education,English,and History. I am certified in English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) with INTESOL WORLDWIDE. I have taught over 700 English conversation classes with TutorABC and have a 9.12 overall rating from the students. Subjects of study include: health, travel, the family, business ethics, the environment, transportation, etc. At the Capital Area Literacy Coalition, I worked as an Americorps VISTA and taught English as a Second Language (ESL). Students were new to the United States and needed help with English Conversation for daily life. I also provided diagnostic assessments here to note English levels and progress.

I completed an Overseas Study Program with MSU where I had full immersion in the Spanish language so I have first hand experience with language learning along with taking French courses at Michigan State University.
