"Hello, my name is Daniela and I would love to be your future tutor. My two areas of specialization are in English and Italian. I am fully credentialed by the State of California in both and have taught both in a range of settings. I was first an English teacher when I was living in Italy. I taught elementary, high school, and at a language institute where I served a various age group. In the United States, I taught English and ESL at the high school level and then later taught Italian for several years at a high school in the greater Los Angeles area.

Now, about my teaching style. I want learning to be fun! It is absolutely essential that we learn the lesson, but in my classroom, we usually learn it with quite a few laughs. Be ready to be an active participant, sharing what you know and questioning what you are not sure about. I possess a masters in education so I am prepared to present material to you in a personalized format that reflects your learning needs. So come on, give it a try!

I am passionate about languages and will try to get you to fall in love with them as I have. Having majored in English and taught it for several years, I am confident that I help you with your English reading/ writing/ speaking needs.

Having taught a wide array of students, I am open to different learners and learning styles. I am a native Italian speaker and lived in Rome and Milan, Italy. I also can tutor in Spanish and have lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
