"I am an experienced educator with a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a strong passion for helping children grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I have worked with students from Pre-K through elementary age, including those with special needs, in both classroom and one-on-one settings. My teaching experience includes public school classrooms, early intervention programs, and substitute teaching roles, where I’ve focused on building foundational skills in literacy, math, and communication. I approach every child with patience, care, and a belief that all students can learn when supported in the right way.

In my teaching and tutoring, I use structured, evidence-based strategies tailored to each child’s learning style. I emphasize clear communication, consistent routines, and interactive activities to keep students engaged. I’ve successfully helped students improve their reading fluency, early writing, number sense, and confidence in learning. I am also comfortable supporting students with IEPs or developmental delays and believe in celebrating small wins along the way.

Beyond academics, I bring a unique perspective as a former track and field athlete. I competed at the high school, college, and international levels and earned a full athletic scholarship through my dedication and hard work. I use the discipline, motivation, and resilience I learned through sports to inspire my students both in and out of the classroom.
