"I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Davis, and a Master’s degree in Data Science from the University of California, Irvine. I’ve always enjoyed helping students discover that math can be much more approachable than it seems at first. My academic background allows me to explain concepts like algebra, geometry, and calculus in clear and simple ways that make sense for younger learners. I believe that confidence in math begins with real understanding, not memorization.

I’ve worked with both middle and high school students on topics ranging from pre-algebra to AP Calculus. Every student learns differently, so I like to start by understanding their strengths and challenges before creating a personalized plan that fits their pace. During sessions, I focus on explaining ideas step-by-step, breaking down tricky problems, and helping students recognize patterns and connections. I also teach strategies that encourage critical thinking and independent problem-solving.

Most of my tutoring takes place one-on-one online, allowing me to give personal attention and adapt lessons to each student’s learning style.
