"I hold a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with a minor in Physics from the University of Utah, having previously attended Salt Lake Community College as part of my academic path. My studies gave me a strong foundation in critical thinking, mathematical theory, and scientific reasoning. Skills I regularly applied during my time as a tutor.

From 2015 to 2016, I worked with the SLCC TRIO program, tutoring college students in subjects such as Trigonometry, Precalculus, College Algebra, Calculus, and Physics. Most of the students I supported were 18 or older and came from a variety of academic backgrounds. The sessions were held one-on-one and in person, usually on campus, where I tailored my teaching methods to fit each student’s unique learning style, whether visual, verbal, or hands-on.

As a result, many of the students I worked with not only passed their courses but did so with strong grades. Just as importantly, they left our sessions with a deeper understanding of the material and greater confidence in their academic abilities.
