My name is Amir, and I’m a sophomore undergraduate studying Computer Science. I’m excited to work with students who want to learn programming and build confidence in computer science. I specialize in tutoring Python and foundational programming concepts such as problem-solving, logic, control flow, functions, and introductory data structures. Over the course of my tutoring experience, I’ve helped more than 200 students improve both their understanding and their grades. I’ve worked with students at many different levels, from complete beginners writing their first programs to those with prior experience who want to strengthen their skills. I most often tutor middle school, high school, and early college students.

When you work with me, my goal is to help you truly understand the material rather than just get through an assignment. My tutoring style is student-focused and concept-driven, and I take time to explain ideas clearly and step by step, adapting to your learning pace and goals. I encourage questions, hands-on practice, and active problem-solving so you can gain confidence and independence in your coursework.
