"With over 30 years of teaching experience in Pre-K through 5th grade, I bring a wealth of knowledge in how young children learn best. I’ve taught all core subjects and supported a wide range of learners in both classroom and individualized settings. My work as an Early Intervention Program (EIP) teacher and RTI/MTSS interventionist has allowed me to provide small group and one-on-one instruction designed to close learning gaps and build confidence in struggling students.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education, a Master’s Degree in Administration and Supervision, and a Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am also trained in the LETRS program, which emphasizes the science of reading and the foundational skills of phonics and language development—tools I use to strengthen literacy and comprehension for K–5 students.

My tutoring approach is patient, structured, and personalized. I focus on creating engaging lessons that meet each student’s needs while building their motivation and self-belief. In addition to my classroom experience, I support my seven-year-old granddaughter, who is on the Autism Spectrum, by applying individualized learning strategies that complement her first-grade curriculum.
