"Hello! My name is Christian Nelson, and I’m a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, awarded with High Honors. I’ve spent the last several years immersed in academic research, mentorship, and community outreach—experiences that shaped me into a thoughtful, approachable, and results-driven educator. As a research assistant and principal investigator through the RISE and MERITUS programs, I explored memory, time perception, and cognition, presenting findings at national conferences. I also served as President of the Teen Survivor Psychology Club, where I led workshops on adolescent development and mental health. In addition to academic support, I have experience working with students with ADHD—helping them build executive functioning skills, manage distractions, and develop personalized strategies for learning and time management.
