"I am an educator at a high school with experience in U.S. History, World History, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal/Civil Law, and English Language Learner education. I have my Bachelor's degree and a Master's in Education as well as my teaching credential in Social Sciences. I am fluent in Spanish and I also focus on student mental health and well being. I came to this country when I was 5 years old and was part of the ELD program. I am the first of my family to graduate from college and from graduate school. Being a first generation student and graduate can be difficult and even more so when we get overwhelmed with work and life.

My philosophy puts student well being at the forefront as the path to academic success.
