"Hello, I’m Vyvy! I am a practicing dentist who graduated from USC. Prior to this, I graduated Cum Laude from University of California, Irvine as a double major in Biology and Chemistry. Even though I love dentistry and all my patients, I will never forget my first passion- teaching. When I started at UCI, I instantly fell in love with math and science so became the department tutor for General Chemistry for 3 years. I would lead midterm/final review sessions in lecture halls that held over 100 students. I also worked off site at a local tutor company helping a large range of students in high school and college.

I have over 8 years of experience teaching chemistry and different subjects of mathematics ranging from algebra 1 to pre-calculus. As a science major, I understand how difficult the subjects can be so I am always trying to simply the concepts for my students to help them understand. Not only am I knowledgeable about these topics, I give my students plenty of opportunity to master these concepts. I prefer in person tutoring to maximize student's engagement and understanding but I also have over 3 years with experience through interactive tutoring. I have also taught math classes with about 8-10 high school students on the weekends.
