"I am currently an Electrical and Computer Engineering student at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, where I’ve built a strong foundation in subjects such as mathematics, physics, computer programming, and data analysis. Over the course of my academic journey, I’ve developed a deep understanding of technical subjects including Verilog, SQL, C++, and embedded systems, and I’ve used these skills in real-world applications ranging from building ALUs and simulators to conducting data analysis with Python and SQL. My coursework and projects reflect both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, which allows me to break down complex topics in a way that's accessible and engaging for students.
My tutoring and teaching experience spans both structured academic support and informal mentorship. I served as a Teaching Assistant at The Academy Charter High School, where I supported Spanish-speaking students in Algebra 1 and 2 preparation for the New York State Regents Exams every student I assisted passed. I currently mentor a group of 25 first-year college students through the NYU GLASS and HEOP programs, helping them navigate financial aid, academic challenges, and campus resources. My tutoring style is highly adaptive: I assess each student’s learning style and adjust my explanations and pacing accordingly, whether in a classroom, one-on-one, or small group setting. I’ve worked with students ranging from high school to undergraduate level, focusing not just on content mastery but also on building their confidence and problem-solving skills." less...
