"Hello, my name's Elizabeth and I'm a math teacher at a high school in Gallup, NM! I have been tutoring since I was in high school because I have always had a knack for math and science - so it was a no brainer to become a teacher! I studied engineering while I was in college, but continued to tutor and work with younger students because I enjoyed developing positive relationships around academic material!

I love tutoring because it gives students an opportunity to practice and refine their skills on an individual basis, which you don't always get in the classroom. Tutoring with me will be full of laughs, but also learning on both sides! I will learn just as much from you as you would from me!

I studied engineering and applied mathematics in college, and I think what makes math so difficult is trying to connect this material with things in your everyday life.
