"Hi! I'm Brian. I am a high school math teacher in the Knoxville area. I have been tutoring students in math since I was in college myself. I have experience tutoring students needing help with middle school math up to college level math courses, like Calculus.

My undergraduate degree was in Psychology, giving me a background in how our brain processes and learns new information. I have since gotten my Master's in Math Education from UTK, and have been working in the classroom for nearly 10 years. I have been in many different roles, starting out as a classroom assistant, to transitioning to a full time teacher, and even some time as a small group interventionist.

Overall, I specialize with students high school age. I have learned to draw on our shared life experiences to help personalize and help students to have a deeper understanding of the math we use on a daily basis.
