"I have had over two years experience tutoring high school students in geometry, algebra, trigonometry, pre-calculus and calculus. I graduated with an applied mathematics B.A. and a minor in mathematical education, so I am more than qualified to answer any questions your students may have.

My teaching philosophy is to help the the students understand where the formulas come from. By doing this, the students won't just have to memorize formulas, they will be able to derive them if they need to. I am extremely patient with them, and I will explain it in as many times and different ways I need to until the idea is clear.
