"I have been teaching high school (grades 10-12) mathematics courses for the past 15 years under a professional certification in Massachusetts. I understand the struggles that many students have toward mathematics; the key to overcoming those struggles is breaking down the material into more manageable parts. I work diligently to provide students with a fundamental understanding of the math concepts, and I continually reach out to other teachers and take more courses to improve upon my teaching practice. There's no better feeling than seeing a student finally get a challenging topic.

I have two degrees: a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, and a Master's of Arts in Teaching Mathematics. My background in science allows me to connect mathematics courses to real-world examples. I have three children, and I volunteer to coach their soccer and baseball teams because I enjoy teaching and learning in all aspects of life.

I have been teaching a range of high school mathematics courses such as Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Precalculus, Trigonometry, and Calculus. I also have experience tutoring students who are preparing for the SAT, MCAS, and AP exams.
