"Hi! My name is Michael Lake and I am a full-time Spanish educator. I have taught at the high school level for four years and continue to do so.

I received my Master's Degree in education from the University of Maryland-College Park. I am certified in the Spanish language by both Praxis educator testing and American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL)

I am half puerto-rican on my Mom's side and bring a wealth of cultural knowledge from experiences with my family. I also have a minor in Spanish, a masters in education, 3+ years teaching Spanish as a full-time teacher in a high school classroom, a degree of course completion from CRLA in Costa Rica, and a wealth of time spent in Spanish speaking countries (Spain, Costa Rica, Perú, Panama, Puerto Rico) where I have honed my dialogue and grammar.
