"Hello everyone! I'm Tony, and I'm an SAT/ACT coach with experience in both private tutoring and the college readiness industry. I'm also an elite scorer myself, achieving a 1570 on the SAT and a 1470 on the PSAT, earning a college-sponsored National Merit Scholarship. Given my combined personal and professional experience, I have a unique perspective as to the real keys to success for the SAT and ACT.

I've been tutoring students one-on-one in the SAT and ACT since 2022, and have since logged hundreds of hours on Wyzant, helping hundreds of students achieve their dream scores. In 2024, I joined the admissions consulting company Ultimate Ivy League Guide as head of their SAT/ACT department. On top of working directly with students, I developed an overarching curriculum with learning resources that cover everything students need to perform at the elite level.

In all my years of experience, I've found that students fundamentally misunderstand what it takes to score well on the SAT and ACT. Because school systems prioritize standardized testing, generations of students have been taught shortcuts and memorization tricks to remember and replicate standardized answers. Unfortunately, college entrance exams are exactly designed to prey on that.

In reality, preparing for the SAT and ACT is not about learning the right strategies to get every question right; it's about learning and understanding the material so well that every question becomes easy. Under this thesis, I believe that any student walk the path to success given enough time and effort. With my experience and expertise, I can set you on that path and make each step as easy possible.

What's truly important is that the knowledge and skills students learn in my lessons will apply to the entirety of their academic careers, not just the SAT or ACT.
