"Welcome, students! My name is Yasmine H, and I’m a student teacher resident with the AUSL and DePaul University. I specialize in high school science and math— (Remedial/General/Honors/AP) Biology, Chemistry, Algebra I/II, Geometry, and Trigonometry—and provide writing support for all academic levels.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, and I’m working toward my master’s in Education with a focus on Science Education. Before my teaching residency, I worked as an in-class City Year tutor, helping students master math competencies and grade-appropriate academic writing. Through my experiences as an educator, I’ve learned to elicit critical, application-based thinking and long-term memory retention in my students.
