"My formal education is in Physics and Mathematics. I have more than 30 years of highly successful experience teaching and tutoring students of all age levels. I have been working as a peer tutor since middle school. In addition, teaching has been an important part of my training during my undergraduate and graduate studies. As a teaching assistant, I have either instructed or co-instructed more than 30 undergraduate courses and two graduate courses. More recently, I tutored and taught college-level math and science courses at Penn State University. I have had the pleasure of helping hundreds of students realize their own potential and see their grades and test scores improve due to our combined efforts. The tutoring techniques that I usually implement and the study strategies that I always provide to my students are those that made me an A+ student during my own educational experience.

I specialize in tutoring mostly Mathematics, Physics, and Spanish (native speaker) at any educational level. My typical tutoring session is a well-balanced question/information exchange that provides the practice and drill in specific course material needed by the student. I assign challenging, thought-provoking homework after each session, and provide periodic assessment and progress reports.
