Teaching French language and literature is my passion ! As a native French language and literature tenured professor, I am passionate about helping you reach your goals and gain confidence to read, listen, write and speak in French!

I have been teaching and tutoring middle school, high school, AP French, college students, and adult learners from beginners to more advanced as well as French immersion students for the past 20 years.

I am patient, friendly and resourceful and will help you boost your French skills so that : You actually enjoy grammar (yes, it’s possible!); You can break down French sentences when you hear them and develop authentic pronunciation; You can write with more ease and accuracy; You enjoy reading French articles and literature extracts; You discover the beauty of French and francophone cultures, from food to songs and films!

… And you eventually start thinking (and dreaming!) in French and become more fluent.

I love teaching at all levels and particularly love helping you hop from the intermediate level (A2-B1) to the advanced (B2 and beyond) level.

I have also been specializing in AP French. If you are a francophile high school student preparing for the AP exam and looking for guidance, expert tips and accountability, I am here for you.
