"Tutoring in Physics

I just retired after teaching physics at Branford High School in Connecticut for 28 years. Over my career, I taught honors physics, high-level mathematics, AP Physics 1 and 2, UCONN ECE College Physics. I love teaching physics in a way that is accessible and enjoyable for my students, and have seen generations of students go on to successful STEM careers. I am also capable of providing support with mathematics as I am certified as a high school math teacher.

I am looking to teach a small number of students as a private instructor. I can provide tutoring support for physics courses, including AP 1 and AP2 Physics, ECE College Physics or Honors Physics. I am comfortable teaching physics virtually.

I am happy to provide references to colleagues, parents, or former students who can speak about my teaching style.

My teaching experience is unique. I taught Physics in the US for 28 years, but I also have a broad knowledge of European and Japanese education. My teaching has been recognized with multiple awards, including the Branford district Teacher of the Year Award, Distinguished Teacher Award from NEST, MIT.
