"Hi! I’m Amogh Gupta. I graduated from Colgate University with a dual degree in math and physics. I have also graduated from Rutgers University with a master’s in mathematics.

I have been tutoring since the beginning of my undergraduate experience. I helped students in various math classes ranging from calculus one to three and linear algebra and differential equations along with higher level math classes. I also have experience helping students with physics, in particular, I was able to help a student go from failing their exams to not only passing but absolutely excelling in the class. I have tutored online through zoom, in person, one on one, and in groups. I also have years of teaching experience from previous jobs through martial arts and actually teaching in a classroom as a professor at Rutgers University. I strongly believe that student learning and understanding is most important. I focus on helping the student overcome difficulties and adapting my teaching style to fit the student’s needs. I want always to be kind and listen to what the student wants and requires and work with student, not just lecture.

I have taught students from all ages between 5 years old to adults in their forties. I have taught students with learning disabilities as well and have been able to make a positive impact on not only their material but how they learn in school. At Rutgers, I taught college students of all years and ages and received stellar reviews not only from my students but from other professor’s reviewing my class.
