"Hi! My name is John and I'm a highly motivated TEFL Certified Instructor with over 15 years’ experience and a master’s degree in Adult Education, which I completed with a 4.0 GPA. Over the many years I have been an instructor, I have helped many students accomplish a variety of goals such as gaining employment, acquiring U.S Citizenship, and earning the GED Certificate. I have also taught Business English in numerous settings such as Manufacturing, Finance, and Senior Living Communities. I also lived and taught overseas in Southeast Asia, where I lived for over two years as a Digital Nomad.

I believe my greatest strengths as a teacher lie in my passion for teaching. My lessons are dynamic, engaging, and always taught at the proficiency level of the students. My lessons emphasize the four learning components of speaking, listening, reading and writing. I'm dedicated to helping my students achieve their goals whether they are professional, academic or recreational. I am a very patient teacher and pride myself in being punctual and prepared. I like to work with students to create lessons that are contextual and tailored to achieving their individual needs.

In my spare time I like to work out, travel and read. I am also a musician. I've played guitar for nearly 40 years and have written, recorded and published 14 songs. I led a project that garnered attention from executives in both the Music and Film Industries.
