"I’m Victoria! I have five years of experience teaching high school English and hold Texas certifications in English Language Arts and Reading (Grades 7–12), as well as an ESL Supplemental certification (Grades 7–12). I graduated summa cum laude with both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English.

Teaching has always been my passion, and I am deeply committed to helping students grow as confident readers, writers, and critical thinkers. I was named Teacher of the Year at my school last year and have been designated a Master Teacher through the Texas Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA), the highest distinction a Texas teacher can receive.

Over the past five years, I have taught 9th, 10th, and 11th grade English in a traditional classroom setting, using student-centered and literacy-focused approaches to support diverse learners. In addition to classroom instruction, I serve as a UIL coach for Spelling, Ready Writing, Literary Criticism, and Prose and Poetry, and I have successfully taken students to the state level in UIL competitions.

I am beginning my private tutoring journey with extensive experience and high-quality, ready-to-use resources. I am available after school Monday through Thursday from 5:30–8:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. CST. Times are flexible depending on your needs.
