"I have taught high school for 21 years, both general and special education. I am certified K-12 Special Education, K-6, General Education, and 7-12 English Language Arts. Over the course of my career, I have taught Biology/Living Environment, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, and all levels of high school English. I have prepared hundreds of students for taking the New York State regents exams in all content areas.

Due to my background in special education, I am extremely skilled at finding multiple strategies for meeting students' needs. My goal is to make connections with my students so that learning is a safe and enjoyable endeavor where they feel comfortable taking risks and approaching new material with excitement and perseverance.
