"Hello! My name is Maia, and I am a recent graduate of the University of Chicago, where I graduated magna cum laude. I double-majored in Medieval Studies and Cinema Studies, but I also love all things history and English. I love sharing my passion for these areas with others.

I've been tutoring for about a year now, but I have also taught horseback riding in the past, and I loved every minute of it. Seeing students gain confidence in themselves and their abilities is one of the most rewarding experiences I've had, and it's motivated me to seek out new opportunities to teach. Being a supportive and encouraging instructor for kids who feel unsure of themselves in history and English is a role that I look forward to fulfilling.
