I have personally benefited from professors and others that have taken time and dedication to invest in my studies. These were people that believed in me and in my potential. As a tutor, the most important quality is to believe in every student's ability.

When I was in fifth grade my English teacher told me I was not good at writing essays. Ten years later, I have two bachelor degrees in political science and philosophy, and two master degrees in Latin American studies and international relations.

What made the difference? I had one good professor and tutor who helped me get out of the box I was "trapped in" as a student and a writer.

I believe it is my mission to be able to invest in others the same way that professor invested in me.
