"I'm excited to become your next tutor in History or English! I have earned a PhD in History from the University of Cambridge, as well as an MA and a BA in History from the University of Alberta. I have considerable experience teaching full classrooms, small groups, and individuals, and I excel at breaking down difficult concepts into their component parts. If something makes sense to us, we don't need to memorize it to understand it.

The majority of my students have been undergraduates, but I've also done 1:1 work with students to prepare for exams, compose papers, and complete projects. I am delighted to be a resource to any undergraduate or high school student learning any aspect of history, civics, or literature. I also teach composition, rhetorical writing, and position/debate writing.
