"How's it going?

My name is Justin and I have been a history teacher for over 15 years, and I absolutely love it. I knew from the time that I was in elementary school that I was going to do something with history as a career....and I have. I received my BA in History from UC Santa Barbara. Then I continued my education at Pepperdine where I received my MA in Education, and I have been teaching ever since.

I have taught nearly every course available in a high school's history curriculum (including various levels of Advanced Placement, Honors, and "college prep"). As I am both a teacher and a tutor, I have, and use, the textbooks and materials from my classes in my sessions. I am also a grader on the US History AP Exam. Like my teaching, I like to vary my tutoring styles so that my students can learn the information in a way that will help them retain the information and succeed in their classes.
